The slow bar works best when everyone shares a similar pace. Here's what we ask of our guests.
Voices low, phones on quiet. The room is small and the acoustics carry. Conversations are welcome — just keep them at table volume.
Weekday mornings until 11am are fine for laptops at the long counter. Weekends are reserved for conversation and reading. The bar seats are always device-free.
Photos of your cup, your table, your friends — all welcome. We ask only that you don't photograph the bar staff or other guests without asking first.
Kids are absolutely welcome. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the patio. Inside is reserved for service animals.
A pour-over takes about four minutes. We brew them one at a time, in the order ordered. Thank you for letting the coffee take its time.
Tips are appreciated but never expected. We accept cards and cash. Local checks are welcome from regulars we know.
Anything left behind is held at the counter for two weeks. Call ahead and we'll set it aside for you.
